I'm Oscar Bustos, a portrait /Headshot and publicity photographer based in North Vancouver. My work is rooted in precision—clean compositions, engineered lighting, and an eye for the subtle details that make a big impact. I specialize in capturing people at their best, whether it’s a headshot that speaks volumes, a corporate image that builds trust, or a publicity portrait that turns heads.

I recently did an editorial shoot with Oscar, and I am so impressed with how well it went! Definitely one of my favourite photoshoots so far. He was professional, and made both the makeup artist and I feel comfortable in the studio (I appreciate the scones he brought us ;-) ). I'd say what makes Oscar stand out from other photographers in Vancouver is his creativity. He has an eye for seeing things from new perspectives, and has plenty of original ideas.

The photos turned out amazingly. His portfolio speaks for itself, but for those who haven't his work, the pictures are crisp and detailed. Any blemishes or imperfections were fixed with retouching, but still looks like real skin and has natural texture. I would highly recommend working with Oscar. Looking forward to our next shoot!
